Social Media for Business Consortium launches in Cambridge
The Social Media for Business Consortium facilited by Cambridge think-tank the ‘Centre for Business Innovation’ launched its initial twelve month programme at Dowing College on January 23rd.
Leading organisations including: Airbus, GSK, American Express, BSkyB, Tesco, NESTA, Twitter, Tchibo and Scottish Enterprise came together for two days of learning, networking, expert witness presentations and interactive sessions – facilitated by the Centre for Business Innovation (CfBI)
Dr Peter Hewkin, CEO of CfBI tells us This is the latest consortium in the CfBI stable – alongside our consortia around ‘Open Innovaiton meets Big Data’, ‘Microfluidics’, ‘Inclusive Design’, ‘Nano Carbon Enhanced Materials’ – all of which run on the same principles and enable corporate members to guide outcomes to suit their needs and do more with less’.
