Susan began her career in semiconductors at Texas Instruments, ATI/AMD and Arm, launching the world’s first 28nm GPU. She was then a founding member of Ryff Inc, serving as CTO and Managing Director of Ryff Europe, where she built a team from zero to over 50 and helped raise $35M across three funding rounds.
Today Susan is Founder and CTO of Endoscan Health, a medtech start-up developing AI for ultrasound scanning, and CTO and founding member of Consolidocs, an AI-based legal tech company. She also runs her own Cambridge based fractional CTO practice, Hewitt Innovations, helping companies design and build AI products and systems. She will be talking about her journey from silicon to start-ups and the realities of building a portfolio career.
