SUMMARY:Susan Hewitt to address Entrepreneurs on the Move 28th Octoberer at Eagle Labs with CamAWiSE
DESCRIPTION:Susan began her career in semiconductors at Texas Instruments\, ATI/AMD and Arm\, launching the world’s first 28nm GPU. She was then a founding member of Ryff Inc\, serving as CTO and Managing Director of Ryff Europe\, where she built a team from zero to over 50 and helped raise $35M across three funding rounds. \nToday Susan is Founder and CTO of Endoscan Health\, a medtech start-up developing AI for ultrasound scanning\, and CTO and founding member of Consolidocs\, an AI-based legal tech company. She also runs her own Cambridge based fractional CTO practice\, Hewitt Innovations\, helping companies design and build AI products and systems. She will be talking about her journey from silicon to start-ups and the realities of building a portfolio career. \nThis EOTM is brought in combination with CamAWiSE.\nCambridge Association for Women in Science and Engineering (CamAWiSE) is a voluntary network for women in Science\, Technology\, Engineering\, Maths and Medicine (STEMM) in industry and academia. CamAWiSE supports recruitment\, retention\, promotion and a return to a STEMM career after a break. They bring together women with common interests and act as a source of support\, information\, and inspiration. They provide a dedicated mentoring programme and regular workshops\, training and networking opportunities both in-person and online. Further information can be found on their website: https://www.camawise.org.uk/ \nPitch and Polish:\n \n\nName: Veridat \n\n\n  \n\n\nBio: Every company makes claims about its products. Faster\, cleaner\, safer\, 99.97% effective. Almost none of them can prove it quickly when asked. Veridat is the system of record for marketing claims. It tracks what you claim\, what proves it\, who signed it off\, and where that wording is approved for use. When a regulator or a competitor challenges you\, the answer takes minutes rather than a fortnight of searching old email trails or slack \n\nCome for the talk\, come for the food\, come for the connections!
