SUMMARY:Jose Ferreira to address Entrepreneurs on the Move 25th February at Eagle Labs
DESCRIPTION:Jose Ferreira brings a deeply curious scientific mind and a lifelong passion for understanding how things work. After years in physics research and lab environments\, he has forged a career in the world of data\, blending analytical rigor with real-world experience. Jose combines a love of science fiction with a belief that technology should remain simple\, human-centred and — where possible — fun. \nJoin us for an EOTM where Jose will tackle a challenge familiar to both entrepreneurs and investors: why so many startups struggle to get value from their data even after hiring data teams\, investing in modern tools\, and putting governance in place. Jose will unpack why these initiatives often falter without the right foundations\, outline the common progression from early shortcuts to costly complexity\, and share practical guidance on the foundational work that helps organisations avoid or recover from these issues — giving attendees actionable insights to strengthen their data practice. \nWe will also be hearing from Babatunde Bello of Afadapa Enterprises which is a global‑minded agrifood innovation company transforming the African catfish value chain through technology\, branding\, and integrated supply‑chain control. Through our Afadapa Fishery Store and CatfishXpress QSR brands\, we deliver premium\, traceable\, and convenient catfish products—from farm to table—serving homes\, professionals\, and businesses. By combining hatchery‑to‑retail operations with eco‑friendly packaging\, QR‑enabled transparency\, and value‑added processing\, Afadapa Enterprises is building a scalable seafood ecosystem designed for Africa and ready for the world. \nPitch and Polish: \n \n\nName: Babatunde Bello  \n\n\nCompany: Afadapa Enterprises \n\n\nAfadapa Enterprises is a global‑minded agrifood innovation company transforming the African catfish value chain through technology\, branding\, and integrated supply‑chain control.
