Microfluidics Consortium Open Day – Cambridge, UK

Having visited San Francisco, Lausanne, Boston and Stockholm during the last 12 months, the next Microfluidics Consortium meeting is in Cambridge UK on Sept 24 & 25. We will be at the Cass Centre followed by a gala dinner in the great hall of Christ’s College Cambridge.
Welcoming delegates from 10 countries and all along the value chain from materials to applications such as HTS, Dx, Tx, NGS, Synthetic Biology, OOC and beyond we are delighted to come back to Cambridge which is the leading European hotspot for life sciences research and medtech commercialization. On Sept 24 we have a programme of research and applications talks from thought leaders, hotseat pitches from early stage companies, a discussion panel focussed on modelling and simulation as well as physical table-top demos from key vendors and all the face-to-face networking you can handle.
In the evening over dinner we will be addressed by Salman Samson of Cellular Highways and on Sept 25 there is the option to participate in laboratory and site visits.
With research talks including Timo Kohler (Uni Cambridge Hollfelder Lab), Sebastain W Krauss (Uni Cambridge Dept of Biotechnology) and Michael Tatoulian (IPGG, Paris) a segment dedicated to simulation/modelling of microfluidics devices (with COMSOL and Amine Sadouk) as well as ‘Hotseat’ Pitches from Engivent and Cykit plus tabletop demos including : Advanced Microfluidics, Micronit, Rapid Fluidics, SuSoS, , Hymson and Elvesys, and as well as lab and site visits to Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy Fluidic Sciences and COMSOL this is an opportunity not to be missed!
There is also a dinner only option to get to know several of CfBIs consortia
